Whiskers[]

Orinoco(VWM101) was born on November 11, 2005 in the Whiskers Mob. His mother was Flower and his father was Zaphod. His litter-mates were Bananas(VWF098), Butch Cassidy(VWM097), Sundance(VWF099), and Alonzo Mourning(VWM100). On January 2, 2006 his sister Sundance was killed by a goshawk. The remaining pups survived to adulthood. After Flower's death, Rocket Dog took dominace of the Whiskers. Monkulus defected from the group and formed her own mob, called the Aztecs, Bananas was amoung them. Orinoco remained in the Whiskers till mid 2007.

Incas[]

Later Orinoco, his father Zaphod, and brothers Logan, Alonzo Mourning and Ningaloo were separated from the Whiskers and formed the Incas Mob. Mitch dissapeared around this time. They eventually met up and joined the Aztecs kicking out Homestar Runner. Zaphod took dominance in the group, but Ningaloo rejoined the Whiskers later on.

Aztecs[]

Orinoco helped babysit Monkulus' pups Marmite, Tofu , Abaca and Piglet. He became Burdock's favorite play mate and often was seen playfighting with her. He went roving a few time with his brothers. In August of 2008 Logan and Orinoco are last seen but witnessed in a wild group. Logan was the dominant male but like Wollow and Rufus, Orinoco might have over thrown Logan or joined another wild group.

Meerkat Manor[]

Orinoco was featured on Meerkat Manor as a pup named Nutmeg. His litter-mates brothers, Butch Cassidy played Apollo and Alonzo Mourning played a pup named Pepper. His sisters Bananas played a pup named Athena and Sundance played an adventurous pup named Blossom. She wondered off more then once from the babysitters. The first time she was found and brought back. However the second time, Yossarian was babysitting and having trouble with the other four pups. Blossom slipped away and got lost in the grass. Mitch almost found her but, it was too late to save the little pup. Blossom was carried off by a hawk. In season four, Orinoco was not menition by his real name, but he was one of the males who left with Zaphod to formed the Incas mob(which was actually a roving collision, since there was no females in the mob it couldn't be considered a breeding group) and joined the Aztecs. On Animal Planet's web site he is seen and his real name was use unlike the other meerkats who had their Meerkat Manor names. Orinoco is also featured on the DVD front cover for Meerkat Manor: The Next Generation along with his father Zaphod.
