Young Ones Mob

The Young Ones are one of the greatest groups of the Kalahari Meerkat Project. The Mob started when two of the Avatar Sisters Morgause and Igraine were joined by Drie Doring Males. Morgause took dominance and group grew fast,in 1997 Igraine and a few other females were evicted and Formed the Frisky Mob in 1999, Holly, Brambles and Piglet were evicted and formed Whiskers Mob and in 2004 a group of males met up with Gattaca Females and formwed the Commandos Mob. Later in 2004 Morgause died, and beaten up Alexander immigrated and became the Dominant Male with Veda The new dominant female and then Asterix, Morgause's last daughter. Asterix was not very productive and the group dwindled in size, In late 2007, 4 Wild males immigrated into the group and Alexander was found dead, all of his sons had been ousted out of the group. Asterix dissapeared, leaving only Lotte the new dominant female, Scrutney Gippo and 4 Males in the gang. On November 2008 the group could no longer be tracked and was last seen. The Youong Ones Mobs blood still runs stron in many of the gangs. Surviving young ones members include Habusu, Teabag and Biltong, all of which are in Elveera and Axel who is in the Lazuli. Many Young Ones members were featured on meerkat Manor, these include the group itself who portrayed the fight scenes between Whiskers and Zappa, Axel who was featured as an adopted Zappa pup, Tequila as Melanie Zappa and Jim Bob the Dominant Male of The Vivian Mob was featured as Hannible of The Commandos Mob.
[edit] Young Ones Splinter Groups
Throughout the history of the young ones group, many small splinters were created by evicted females and roving males.
Frisky Mob A group of evicted Young ones females lead by Igraine who were previously called 'Hobo' formed the Frisky with Wild Males. The Frisky are a very succsefull group and today are led by Bootle the dominant female and a Drie Doring male Gazebo.
The Sirius Mob A very short lived group which was formed by Lazuli females and Young Ones males.
The Umbongo Mob The group was formed in 1999 by evicted young ones females and two frisky rovers, the group dies of a disease 2 years later.
PQ Mob The PQ group was formed by Tequila Young Ones and her sister who teamed up with Shoy and JD lazuli. The males including tequilas son shady left the sisters. Tequila then managed to join Balrog.
Whiskers Mob The Whiskers Mob is perhaps the most famous of the groups and was formed in 1998 by Holly, Brambles and Piglet and Lazuli males. The Whiskers mob was a consitent rival of the Young ones, Alexander was brutelly beaten up by his brother Youssarian in this group before he joined Young ones. Today the group is lead by Ella Whiskers and Thundercat Lazuli.
The Commandos Mob The commandos mob was formed by gattaca females who met young ones males. Argon established dominance until his recent death. Today the group is lead by Zorrila Gattaca and Miles Whiskers.
