[edit] Life in the Whiskers
Wahine Whiskers was born on 21st December 1999 in a group of meerkats called the Whiskers. Her parents were the dominant pair of the Whiskers during that time. They were Holly(VYF008) and Argon(VLM002). She was born in a litter of four pups. She was the only female pup in the litter. Her three brothers were Tama(VWM020), Rangi(VWM021) and Orgali(VWM022). When she was born the Whiskers numbered ninteen meerkats. some where her siblings like Porthos, Athos, Vialli, Dennis Wise, Aramis and others were her cousins born from her aunts Brambles and Piglet( both got evicted from the group earlier on by Holly) they are Risca, Mufassa, Rafiki, Lancelot, Jean-Luk, Artemis, Aphrodite. Wahine and her siblings in her litter survived through their first three months of life. On 15th March 2000, her mother Holly gave birth to another litter consisting of four pups which include Flower, Petal, Thumper and Hazel. The group expanded. Her mother give birth to another litter of pups and shortly after dies in September 2000 and Risca took over dominant female in the group. Most of the males rove and a large group of Vivian males migrated into the Whiskers. The Whiskers males including her brothers Tama, Rangi and Orgali are not allow back in the group, they team up with two evicted Whiskers females to start a new group called Hobgoblin Mob. Beetle took over male dominance. Risca gave birth a few months after the males join, but the litter never survived. Izit was overthrew shortly after the pups died, and the female attack Risca for dominant female. Vialli, Wahine and Flower fought for dominant female. Flower was the youngest and lost, the Wahine lost to her older sister Vialli. Vialli too dominances next to Zaphod, she then evicted Risca. After evicting Risca, Vialli started to attack Wahine and after awhile Wahine was evicted from the group.

Wahine teamed up with Risca and the two stayed together. Some of the Vivian males from the Whiskers left the Whiskers and teamed up with Wahine and her cousin Risca on November 5,2001. The males were Vervain, Izit and Deejay.( Izit came from the Whiskers but Deejay and Vervain left the Vivian group and teamed up with them). They formed a new group called, Gattaca.Wahine was younger than Risca by several months but took dominant female in the Gattaca. Risca was weak after the lose of her dominant position in the Whiskers so Wahine was easily able to take dominance. Izit was also battered after his brothers bullied him after the lose of his dominant position, so one of the other males took male dominance(either Vervain or Deejay). Wahine soon gave birth to a litter in the group. The litter consisted of four pups, BuckBeak(VGGF001), Mad Eye Moody(VGGF002), Severus Snape(VGGM003) and Sirius Black(VGGM004). All her litter survived. A month after, Wahine was foraging and was carried of by a Martial Eagle, leaving Risca as dominant female.
