Thundercat was born into the Lazuli Mob on September 30th, 2005. His mother was Cazanna and father was Basil (Big Si from Meerkat Manor). When Thundercat was about one year old, his mother died. After his mother's death, Aretha took the position of dominant female. In 2008, Aretha died and Young took the position of dominant female while Thundercat took the position of dominant male, though he couldn't mate with his niece. The next month, five Whiskers males( Wollow, Michu Pichu, Axel, Rufus and Rhogan Josh) joined the Lazuli and kicked out the last six adult males, including Thundercat.
[edit] Life in the Whiskers
Thundercat soon came across a group that consisted of eight meerkats. The eight meerkats were Ella, Busta, Nugget, Beaker, Juno, Oriole, Sabota, and Marico of the Whiskers, a group which was recorving from a bad year. Soon after Thundercat joined the Whiskers, Busta died of tuberculosis while Beaker dissapeared, leaving Ella as the dominant female and Thundercat as the dominant male. The two now lead the Whiskers Mob, which consisted of only five other meerkats.
Fate finally smiled at the Whiskers when Ella gave birth to her son, Savuka, on July 29th, 2008. Then on October 14th of 2008, Ella gave birth to three males, named Rozza, Gump, and Pumplemousse and three females, named McGee, Enili, and Popple. Thundercat and the rest of the group raised the six pups without losing a single one of them. Ella also gave birth to another litter of four pups on January of 2009. Marxxs, Pitio, Mimaji and VWM137. Thundercat and Ella now lead a group of five adults, one sub-adult, six teenagers, and four pups. Then, in March of 2009, the group had a fight with the Kung Fu Mob. The fight went on for almost an hour before the Whiskers were forced to reteat. Popple and Pamplemousse never made it back to the Whiskers, their status remain unknown. In April of 2009 VWM137 was predated.

At the start of season 2 of the hit telivision series, Meerkat Manor, we found out that Big Si, dominant male of the Lazuli Mob had died of tuberculosis and that Bubble and Squeak (Thundercat) were that last pups fathered by Big Si. Unfortunately, the Commandos (Vivian) lead an attack at the burrow and killed Bubble, leaving only Squeak (Thundercat) alive.
