- The two Lazuli pups, called Gin and Tonic, are not actually Pancake's, but the dominant female's (Cazanna's)
- Yossarian was the real father of Gin and Tonic, he unwittingly saved their lives by leading half of the Whiskers away.
- This was the second time on Meerkat Manor that the Whiskers had retreated from the Lazuli
- This was the last episode that the Lazuli's dominant female Cazanna appeared in. She died of disease at the end of 2006; the next Lazuli dominant female seen on the show is Aretha (who played as Marilyn) in season 4.
