Young Ones[]
Ousik(VYM109) was born in the Young Ones on March 19, 2004. His mother was Veda and his father was an unknown male. Ousik was born in a large litter, his litter-mates were Ahadi(VYM108), Habusu(VYM110), Lisani(VYF111) and Phalanges Paah(VYF112). The pups survived their first few weeks. His mother had taken dominance a month before the pups were born, so they were spoiled in the Young Ones. Veda soon got pregnant again gave birth to another litter in July. By then Ousik and his litter were four months old and could fend for themselves. In Late 2004, Ousik left the group and joined up with three Zappa female, possibly he had gotten sepereated from the Young Ones, still being a juvenile.
Jackals[]
A wild male soon joined the four meerkats and set the fooundation for the Jackals. The wild male named Dizzy Rascal established dominance with one of the Zappa females, most probably Brandy, the oldest. The group soon produced a litter however Brandy died and one of the other Zappa females took dominance. Ousik reach his first birthday and most likely started to rove. In June 2005 Ousik and Dizzy Rascal were born hip by a car on the main road. The following month the Jackals were no longer followed.
