Eigg on sentry
Eigg(VLM141) was born on August 25, 2008 in the Lazuli Mob. His mother was either the dominant female Young or a subordinante female named Caroline and his father was an unknown rover. His litter-mates were his three sisters named Rum(VLF142), Muck(VLF143) and Hen(VLF144 ). Before Eigg was born, in June five Whiskers males had joined the group but in July two males Machu Pichu and Rhogan Josh left the group and joined another group named PK. The Lazuli were a small group that consisted of mostly young memeber and in much need of pups. Despite the odd Eigg and his sisters survived through their first year but sadly Caroline had been evicted and disappeared. In October 2009, Axel, Lutzputz and Prieska leftthe group making Eigg the oldest Lazuli born male, only the last two Whisker males were older. Eigg soon started to roving. He also atsrted to sentry and help babysit Young's pups. In February 2010, Hen and Young gave birth to a mix litter of pups, but only one male pup survived to adulthood. During that same month the dominant male Wollow lost dominance to Rufus. Sadly his sister Rum died in November 2010. Eigg spend most of his time roving or on sentry duty when he was at home with the Lazuli. He was seen roving JaXX and Whiskers where he may have mated with one of the females. In June 2011, Wollow and Rufus competed for dominance. With no clear dominant male Eigg was seen acting as the dominant male while the two Whiskers males competed. However Eigg went roving at the JaXX and was absent at the end of the month. After Rufus re-established dominance again, Eigg handed over his position as dominant male without a fight and took to his favorite past time roving. Wollow later disappeared making Eigg the oldest subordinate male in the group. A full year later in June 2012, the Lazuli experienced a group split, Hen was in the splinter with a few other meerkats including Rufus. Eigg went roving that month so it is unknown which group he was in. The following month all the meerkats had returned and Eigg remained in the Lazuli and continued to rove frequently. In October 2012 Hen and Merlino gave birth to a mix litter of unknown pups. That same month Eigg took to roving with his younger brothers Palü and Jimp in October and were Last Seen.
