Axel, of the Young Ones Mob, was born on the twenty-sixth of December in 2006 with four litter mates. Asterix was Axel's mother and Alexander was his father. After Axel and his litter mates began to forage with the adults, all Axel's litter mates were killed. Then the Young Ones ran into the Whiskers group. Zappa ran away leaving Axel alone. The Whiskers found Axel and let him into the Whiskers. Soon after Axel join, four Whiskers females gave birth to a mix litter of eight. Then the dominant female died. Whiskers stayed with the group for two years. Then Wollow lead a group of four males on a roving trip. The group was made up of Wollow, Michu Pichu, Rufus, Axel, and Rhogan Josh. The five join the Lazuli group. Wollow took dominant male after he over throgh his older brother Michu Pichu. Michu Pichu and Rhogan Josh left a group and form a group left would soon be lost. As of Today Axel is still here.

Axel was seen as a Zappa pup who was rescued by Mitch after Axel was lost from the group. In meerkat manor season 4 Axel was always around Mitch.
